SPbSUT develops cooperation with Vietnam

First Secretary of the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Mai Nguyen Tuyet Hoa and Leading Specialist of the Department for Relations with International Organizations of the Committee for External Relations of St Petersburg Anastasia Ivanova visited SPbSUT on May 22. The guests were welcomed by the First Vice-Rector - Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Albert Abilov and Head of International Cooperation Department Yana Ilyinskaya.

Issues of developing cooperation with Vietnamese universities were discussed:

• organization of academic mobility of students
• joint educational programs that could be of interest to students from both countries
• information support, dissemination of information about the University, events, summer schools, English-language programs
• search for new partners in the field of educational programs

Ms. Hoa met with students from Vietnam who study at SPbSUT. She noted that she received only positive feedback from students about the University, thanked colleagues for the high-quality training of students and good attitude.

Albert Abilov stressed that SPbSUT has been training Vietnamese students in technical specialties for many years and is interested in developing fruitful cooperation with Vietnamese universities.

“The meeting that took place will contribute to the further development and strengthening of cooperation between SPbSUT and partners from Vietnam,” International Cooperation Department noted.
