SPbSUT students win a photo contest in China

Valentina Fedotova and Egor Zubarev won the photo and video contest dedicated to spring and organized by the Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunications. Currently, Valentina and Egor are studying under the academic mobility program in Chongqing (China).

"We tried to catch moments on the go – between classes, walks around the campus and everyday activities. Sometimes a successful shot appeared unexpectedly: in a street scene, in the gaze of a passerby, or in a short episode of student life. It was important not only to take a beautiful picture, but also to convey the feeling of spring – alive, rapidly changing and filled with movement," our students say.

About 300 students took part in the competition. Valentina Fedotova took the first place, Egor Zubarev – the second. Their work was highly appreciated for its combination of artistic approach, attention to detail and ability to convey the atmosphere of spring on campus.
