SPbSUT and the Russia-Latin America Business Center signed an agreement of cooperation

St Petersburg State University of Telecommunications and the Russia-Latin America Business Center agreed to cooperate in the field of education and international cooperation. The organizations entered the cooperation agreement at the meeting at SPbSUT on March 12.

The agreement was signed by the Rector of SPbSUT Ruslan Kirichek and the General Director of the Russia-Latin America Business Center Vitaly Stepanishchev. They highlighted how important this event is for both parties not only in the context of the university's international activity enhancement, but also in the context of encouragement for academic and cultural interrelation between Russia and Latin American countries.

The Russia-Latin America Business Center was established to facilitate developing international and foreign economic relations between Latin American countries and St Petersburg. It serves as a communication platform for Russian and Latin American organizations. The Center supports implementing the projects in the field of business and medical tourism, cultural and educational work as well as initiatives in the field of trade and economic cooperation.

“SPbSUT is ready to develop scientific, technological and educational cooperation with the universities and friendly countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. We have all the opportunities and resources to imbody joint educational programs on highly qualified specialists training for the Latin American countries. I am confident that joint work with the Business Center “Russia — Latin America” will significantly contribute to new educational projects with the Latin American universities,” noted the Rector of SPbSUT Ruslan Kirichek.

“A major mission of the Center is to disseminate comprehensive information about the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean among industrial enterprises and entrepreneurs, cultural, educational and scientific figures,” noted the Director General of the Center Vitaly Stepanishchev. According to him, cooperation with SPbSUT will become another link that will connect the academic and scientific world of Russia and Latin America.
