Welcome meeting for the Congolese students

On April 16, Saint Petersburg State University of Telecommunications hosted a bright and cordial event — the Welcome meeting for a group of 24 students from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The guys arrived to SPbSUT to learn the Russian language at the Preparatory department for further admission to SPbSUT next year.

The Welcome meeting was organized to support the Congolese during the first stage of their adaptation at SPbSUT.

A remarkable emotional atmosphere was created by the French-speaking students of the Faculty of Social Technologies and Data Economics. They not only helped in arranging the event, but also became real friends and guides for the new international students.

"The Welcome Meeting is an inspiring example of cultural awareness, friendship and cooperation between students of different countries. We are sure that there are a lot of interesting events, projects and warm meetings ahead!" — noted Head of the International Education Department of SPbSUT, Yulia Lutova.
