SPbSUT students opened the CQUPT summer school season

    A group of SPbSUT students has started classes at the international summer school of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT).

    Future engineers and IT specialists from the Faculty of Information Technology and Software Engineering, Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems and the Master's Institute participated in the prestigious educational program: Kamila Dzhalilova, Makar Vanyshev, Alexandra Gordeeva, Anton Maltsev, Ivan Nikiforov, and Vadim Mataruev. They have already managed to adapt to the new rhythm of life and shared their first impressions of exploring the city and the university.

    "Chongqing is impressive from the very first minutes. This is a huge metropolis: complex interchanges on the roads, beautiful bridges, unusual signage – it feels like China is trying to give everything a twist and even make something special and beautiful out of a simple shop," the members of our delegation share.

    The campus is more like a small town. However, the Chinese students welcomed their Russian guests very warmly and were always willing to help.

    On the very first evening, our students tasted the famous Chongqing hot pot, a rich soup with an abundance of spices and pepper. "The food is very unusual for us. It was incredibly spicy, but at the same time very tasty," the students noted.

    The participants of the summer school immersed themselves in their studies. They will have to take a course of lectures on current areas of digital technology, robotics, and also begin learning Chinese. The program is designed to combine an intensive educational program and an introduction to Chinese culture.
