Vietnam-Russia Forum on Public Diplomacy in Hanoi

St Petersburg University of Telecommunications is participating in the first Vietnam-Russia Forum of Public Diplomacy.

The event, attended by scientists and entrepreneurs, is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Vietnam.

SPbSUT is represented by Rector Ruslan Kirichek and Vice Rector for Research Aleksey Rabin.

Rector of SPbSUT Ruslan Kirichek and Chairman of the University Council of the Vietnam National University of Technology in Hanoi Nguyen Dinh Duc moderated the session "Science, Technology, and Healthcare: New Drivers of Interaction."

"The time has come when many things are changing. Traditionally, the friendship between our peoples has been expressed in joint assistance and support. Every year, many students from Vietnam come to study in Russia, study fundamental and applied disciplines, receive diplomas, defend dissertations and return to their homes to put all their knowledge and skills into practice.

Cybersecurity, working with big data, artificial intelligence technologies, advanced research in the field of medicine are only a small part of the areas that students study in St. Petersburg.

I hope for cooperation and new horizons of Russian-Vietnamese friendship!" said Ruslan Kirichek in his welcoming speech.

        The forum is organized by the Vietnamese Union of Friendship Societies, the Committee on Foreign Relations of St Petersburg, the Vietnam-Russian Friendship Society, the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship Society, and the Traditions and Friendship Foundation for the Promotion of Russian-Vietnamese Cooperation.
