On the eve of the New Year holidays, the foreign students were plunged into a magical atmosphere of winter holidays – the team of the International Education Department organized an excursion to the museum of New Year's toys. On the way to the museum, the guys were admiring the beauty of the historical part of the city, and were playing snowballs. During the excursion at the museum, the students learned about the Russian traditions of celebrating the New Year, how the holiday is celebrated in different parts of Russia, saw New Year's toys made in different centuries, learned about the famous Russian composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and were also able to observe the process of creating New Year's toys.

“We received not only new knowledge, but also got vivid impressions that will be remembered for a long time," the foreign students shared with opinions with the team of the International Cooperation Department.
