The article of the Secured Communication Networks Department of SPbSUT was recognized as the best at the International conference

The 4th International Conference on FUTURE NETWORKS and DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS (ICFNDS) was held on November 26th-27th.

Senior Lecturer of the Department of Secured Communication Systems, Ph.D. Igor Ushakov made a presentation on the research topic "Detection of Stego-Insiders in Corporate Networks Based on a Hybrid NoSQL Database Model" (authors: Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Secured Communication Systems I.V. Kotenko, Head of the Department, Associate professor, Ph.D Andrey Krasov, senior lecturer, Ph.D. A.A. Ushakov,Associate Professor Ph.D. K.E. Izrailov.

During the report, the relevance of the problem of detecting a stego-insider in corporate computer networks was noted, and a hybrid NoSQL database OrientDB was presented to collect information about users, services and network activity. The results of the experiments were also demonstrated and further research plans were given, including the possibility of detecting insiders in real time.

The presented article "Detection of Stego-Insiders in Corporate Networks Based on a Hybrid NoSQL Database Model" aroused great interest among the conference participants and was marked the Best Paper Award. The authors of the article were able to publish its expanded version in the Journal of Sensor and Actuator Networks (Scopus Q1, Open Access) in the special issue - Security Threats and Countermeasures in Cyber-Physical Systems.

It should be noted that this article was published based on the results of research aimed at ensuring information security for the tasks of the digital economy, within the framework of a grant for graduate students and young scientists.
