Gleb Budarny is the best graduate of St Petersburg

Graduate of the Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems Gleb Budarny became one of the best graduates of St Petersburg universities in 2023. The honoring ceremony took place in the atrium of the Commandant's House of the Peter and Paul Fortress on June 28.

Gleb Budarny received a memorable gift – a bronze statuette of the sphinx, a symbol of the Council of Rectors of the city and region, and a letter of thanks from the Governor of St Petersburg.

The best graduates received the honorary right to fire a cannon from the Naryshkin bastion.

Rectors of higher educational institutions, Heads of military academies and colleges, Heads of student self-government of universities took part in the ceremony.

Family members and friends, representatives of the authorities and the media congratulated the graduates.

Vice-Governor of St Petersburg Vladimir Knyaginin presented awards to graduates. Rector Ruslan Kirichek, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and International Cooperation Nina Zhuravleva, Dean of the Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems Darina Okuneva, Advisor to the Rector on interaction with public authorities Stanislav Danilin were representatives of SPbSUT at the event.
