SPbSUT welcomed colleagues from the college of Turkey

Delegation from Turkey - the founder of Bahcesehir College Baba Cihan and the director of the College Haboglu Baba Burcu visited St Petersburg State University of Telecommunications on July 18.

Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and International Cooperation Nina Zhuravleva, Head of International Cooperation Department Anna Skorynina and Chief Specialist of International Cooperation Department Tatiana Rudenko welcomed the guests.

Nina Zhuravleva spoke about the University, fields of studying, student life and employment prospects for graduates. The colleagues paid special attention to the issue of admission to the main educational programs, organization of Summer school for students of Bakhchesehir College and their parents in order to prepare for admission to SPbSUT.

The guests visited the Cultural and Educational Center “SPbSUT Museum”. Head of the Center Irina Vlasova demonstrated the museum’s exhibits and spoke about their history.

Representatives of Bahcesehir College visited the MEGANETLAB 6G laboratory. Associate Professors of the Department of Communication Networks and Data Transmission Artem Volkov, Ammar Muthanna, students Anvarzhonov Bakhodirjon Nodirbek Ugli and Daniil Svechnikov spoke about the laboratory, achievements in the work on the project and demonstrated the equipment.

The visit ended with an excursion to the University's Media Center, which was conducted by Head of the Center Daria Kuzmina. The guests met the young team and looked at the recording studio, the Radio Bonch studio and the television studio. The parties agreed on the possibility of holding a joint broadcast.

        We thank Baba Cihan and Haboglu Baba Burcu for their visit to our University! We hope that this meeting will mark the beginning of fruitful cooperation!
