Internet Governance and Security in the Digital Environment: SPbSUT at Youth RIGF 2023

The III Youth Forum on Internet Governance (Youth REG 2023) was held in Moscow. The work of the platform was devoted to discussing topical issues of the development of the World Wide Web.

Three representatives of SPbSUT joined the business and interactive program of the event. The participants from the University were Senior Lecturer of Communication Networks and Data Transmission Department, Ph.D. Artem Volkov, a student of the Master’s Institute Bogdan Pankov and a student of the Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems Daniil Svechnikov.

Representatives of SPbSUT attended thematic sessions and master classes, got acquainted with the project of Skoltech and the gallery of modern art "Khodynka" in the field of Science art, the installation "Sound Tree" and a robotic arm that is able to recognize gestures by control points.

The forum was held on May 12, the birthday of the .РФ domain. The organizer is the Center for Global IT Cooperation with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. Internet Governance Forums have been held around the world under the auspices of the UN since 2005.
