SPbSUT student Mikhail Zyurikov is a laureate of the competition "Talent to overcome"

The results of the annual charity program "Talent to overcome named after L. M. Shipitsyna" were summed up by the Council of Rectors of St Petersburg. The program is held in the format of a competition among physically challenged  students.

Student of the Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies Mikhail Zyurikov  is among the laureates of the 2022 competition. The ceremony of honoring the winners was held at the Council of Rectors on February 13. Seventeen candidates participated in the competition. All of them achieved high results in studies, student scientific research, olympiads, competitions, conferences, actively showing themselves in social activities.

Five students were recognized as laureates - representatives of SPbSUT, the Herzen State Pedagogical University, St Petersburg State Institute of Culture, St Petersburg University, St Petersburg State University of Economics. Student of our University Mikhail Zyurikov is among the best.

Deputy Dean for Educational Work of the Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies Elena Gunina was among the guests from the University administration.

We congratulate Mikhail with the award and wish him new successes!

The competition "Talent to overcome" was established in 2010. It was renamed in honor of Chairman of the Commission for Work with Students with Disabilities, Rector of the Institute of Special Pedagogy and Psychology Lyudmila Shipitsyna in 2015. She headed the first non-state university in Russia, specializing in training for the system of special and inclusive education.

The competition is held in all universities of St Petersburg annually, the winners are awarded with a cash prize.
