Dear students, teachers, colleagues!

Today St Petersburg State University of Telecommunications celebrates its birthday – our University turns 93 years old.

The history of the University is a bright page in the chronicle of national education and science, and its birthday is a festive event not only for us, but for the entire university community, for St Petersburg, for our country.

SPbSUT has established itself as a prestigious and unique Russian university, in which tens of thousands of people have received an excellent education, and this result is the undisputed merit of many generations of employees and students of the University. The time and tasks, educational standards and structure changed, the name of the University changed, but its authority was never lost.

Today SPbSUT is a leading University in the field of communications, telecommunications and IT. It is a modern scientific and educational center with a well-developed infrastructure and material and technical base, successfully training highly qualified specialists, well-educated, with a broad outlook and a high sense of responsibility.

The University is rightfully proud of its teaching staff, the best representatives of which have been repeatedly presented with awards for outstanding services to the state in economics, science, culture, and education.

I sincerely wish everyone new achievements, moonshot projects and discoveries, prosperity and good health!
