Foreign students of the Preparatory Course have completed their studies

19 foreign students completed their studies, having successfully solved the test tasks at the final exam and showing a good level of the Russian language.

Classes began in October online. Students from Algeria, Benin, Egypt, Lebanon, China and Tunisia, having arrived in St Petersburg after the New Year holidays and continued to study the language in the classrooms with teachers Olga Kareva and Natalia Fursova.

Students studied grammar, learned to read, learned writing, listening and speaking, prepared to master professional educational programs in Russian with experienced teachers: in Mathematics - with Olga Britaeva, in Informatics - with Andrey Shiyan, in Physics -  with Evgeny Peredistov.

An excursion to Peterhof took place the day after the exams. Students had the opportunity to enjoy the glories of the palace and park ensemble. This excursion was a gift for the end of the academic year.

The week ended with a meeting of the graduates of the Preparatory Department with the staff of International Cooperation Department. Head of the Department Alexandra Soloveva spoke with parting words and wished success to the students.

The staff of the Department prepared small gifts for students, souvenirs with the symbols of SPbSUT and a video that recalled some of the bright events of the academic year.

Foreign students expressed their good wishes to the teachers and the administration and thanked them for the quality education, help and support in problem situations, for their attentive and friendly attitude.

We wish foreign students to prepare for the entrance tests. We hope to see them among the first-year students of our University!
