A graduate of SPbSUT appointed by the head of Agency of Communications in Burundi

In early January of this year, Samuel Muhizi, a graduate of our University, was appointed Director General of the Agency for Regulation and Control in the Field of Telecommunications of the Republic of Burundi (Agence de Régulation et de Controlle des Télécommunications). The Agency is the State Agency responsible for supervision in the sphere of telecommunications on the entire territory of Burundi.

From 2010 to 2015. Samuel studied at The Bonch-Bruevich St-Petersburg State University of Telecommunications at the Faculty of "Communication Networks and switching systems" , then enrolled in graduate school. In the summer of 2019, he successfully defended his scientific thesis for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences on the topic "Development of models and methods of resource segmentation in software-configurable networks" in the specialty 05.12.13-Systems, Networks and telecommunications devices (supervisor-Kirichek Ruslan Valentinovich, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Software Engineering and Computer Engineering).

The Alumni Association and the staff of The Bonch-Bruevich St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications congratulate Samuel on his appointment and wish him success and professional achievements!
