Infoforum-2023: SPbSUT and the Association of Internet of Things Market Participants signed cooperation agreement

St Petersburg University of Telecommunications and the Association of Internet of Things Market Participants signed a cooperation agreement. The signing took place in Moscow within the framework of the 25th National Information Security Forum "Infoforum-2023".

Rector of SPbSUT Ruslan Kirichek and Director of the Association Andrey Kolesnikov signed the document. Cooperation will be related to the implementation and research of Internet of Things technologies and other information technologies.

The parties intend to conduct expert and analytical work and scientific research, organize joint educational, expert and consulting events, participate in standardization and development of recommendations for Internet of Things technologies, data transmission protocols, data structures, identification of digital objects and data integration methods, as well as exchange experience and develop information cooperation.

The agreement will be valid until 2026.

The 25th anniversary "Infoforum" was held in Moscow from 7 to 8 February. The event is dedicated to issues of information security and information sovereignty, participants discuss national priorities in the field of information security, features of critical infrastructure protection, training standards, domestic IT solutions and legal regulation of digital data protection. 2000 specialists from 64 regions among the forum participants.

The management and staff of SPbSUT participate in the event every year: the training of specialists in the field of Сybersecurity is among the priorities of the University. The Department of Secure Communication Systems of SPbSUT in the field of training "Information Security" was recognized as the "Educational Center of the Year" twice according to the results of the All–Russian competition "Infoforum - A New Generation". Student of Institute of Magistracy of SPbSUT Alexandr Katasonov was recognized as the winner of the Student of the Year competition.
