Students of SPbSUT learned to work with mobile communication networks

Optional course "Planning, Construction and Operation of Mobile Communication Networks" was completed at Radio Communication and Broadcasting Department. The educational program was launched in October 2022 by the partner of SPbSUT - the company "VympelCom" (TM beeline).

Dean of the Faculty of Radiotechnologies of Communication Dmitry Kirik,Technical Director of the Western Region of VimpelCom Evgeny Vasilevich and Technical Director of the St Petersburg branch of VimpelCom Denis Meshcheryakov presented the students with certificates of finishing the course.

Students learned how mobile communication networks are built and work, tried themselves in the role of radio network planners and optimizers, optical fiber welders.

In addition to the acquired knowledge, the elective for some students has become a springboard for employment. Two of the best students of the year joined Beeline in the field of mobile network operation.
