Foreign students of Preparatory Course get acquainted with SPbSUT and St Petersburg

Foreign students of Preparatory Course get acquainted with the University, cultural attractions of St Petersburg and Russian traditions. SPbSUT has been accepting students since October. Russian language studying takes place in three groups. A rich program with visits to various places is organized for the students after classes: they visited Media Center of SPbSUT, library, coworking and also took part in the XIX International Festival of National Cultures.

The students went to an exhibition of Russian sculpture of the 20th century in Manege together with Russian students from Bonch International Team (BIT). The students shared that the scale of the exhibition and the masterpieces of Russian sculpture left an unforgettable impression. Foreigners got acquainted with the city center and visited the Kazan Cathedral.

    A study excursion to the Peter and Paul Fortress took place. According to colleagues, the students were surprised by the tradition of firing a cannon at 12 o'clock, admired the height of the spire and the power of the fortress. The excursion was dynamic and interesting, despite the cold weather.          

        Studying at the Preparatory Course will last until the end of the academic year with further admission to the main educational programs.
