St Petersburg University of Telecommunications took part in VK Fest, the largest city open-air festival. SPbSUT has opened a large interactive platform with smart entertainment for children, youth and adults in the Park of the 300th Anniversary of St Petersburg.
The University was represented in the "Technologies" zone, where stands of high-tech companies, universities and startups were located. Students and staff of SPbSUT worked here both days, despite the changeable weather. SPbSUT offered several interactive formats for festival guests. It was possible to play the intellectual game "Connectis", which was developed by a student of the Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems Alexander Sinitsyn. Visitors immersed themselves in digital sports: they learned how to control drones and launched them along the air route. Participants could be a DJ on a music visualizer, participate in the creation of content using a virtual video production studio, and give interviews to Media Center journalists.
The guests were photographed with a tiger - the mascot of the University sports club "BonchTigers". The most persistent participants received a branded product as a gift.
