Schoolchildren from Yakutia got acquainted with the University of Telecommunications

Сareer guidance excursion for schoolchildren from the "Republican Boarding Lyceum" of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) took place on January 20 at SPbSUT. The event was organized by the Department of Career Guidance and Pre-University Training together with the Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems.

The schoolchildren were told about the disciplines studied at the faculty, scientific activities and employment opportunities. The boarding school is considered one of the best educational institutions in Yakutia and the Far East of Russia. Many guys are interested in studying at our University and visit SPbSUT from time to time.

The schoolchildren saw the main developments of the departments, learned about educational programs, asked questions about entrance examinations and, in general, about admission this year to Chief Specialist of the Department Svetlana Andrianova. Deputy Dean of the faculty of IKSS Elena Polyakova informed about student life, dormitories and the realization of creative opportunities.

The guests were particularly impressed by the story of a first-year student of the ICT-24 group, a graduate of the boarding school, Pavel Prokopyev. He shared his impressions about the first passed session and about educational process at SPbSUT.
