Rector of SPbSUT Ruslan Kirichek met with Vice-Governor of St Petersburg

The meeting of Rector of SPbSUT Ruslan Kirichek with Vice-Governor of the city Stanislav Kazarin took place in Smolny on January 19. The participants discussed partnership between the city and the University, as well as future projects.

"The University of Telecommunications contributes to the development of Communications, Telecommunications and IT industry in St Petersburg and Russia. We are an educational partner for the city and the industry, we participate in socially significant projects, we train personnel for the Digital Economy," Ruslan Kirichek said.

SPbSUT is a specialized university in the field of Communications and Telecommunications, which "is entrusted with a special responsibility for educating personnel capable of providing a technological breakthrough in Russia," said Stanislav Kazarin.

Today, with the support of the Government of St Petersburg, SPbSUT has already implemented a series of large-scale events: the Open Artificial Intelligence Championship "SPb AI Champ", the All-Russian Computer Sports Competitions "Student Esports League", etc. The University cooperates with the city in the direction of scientific research.

SPbSUT, as a subordinate university of Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, plans to strengthen interaction with relevant executive authorities responsible for digital transformation.
