Cooperation with China: prospects for the implementation of a joint educational project

On May 18th, a trade and economic exhibition was held in the city of Langfang, within the framework of which the delegations of the SPbSUTand the North China Institute of Aerospace Engineering (SKIAT) met with the leadership of Hebei Province.

The Chinese side was represented by Hou Jianguo, Deputy Director of the Department of Education of Hebei Province, Ji Zhenqi, Director of the International Department of the Department of Education of Hebei Province, Han Wenzhong, Rector of SKIAT, Gang Chen, Vice-Rector of SKIAT, Yin Jing, Director of the International Exchange Center of SKIAT. SPbSUT was represented at the event by Irina Alekseenko, Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Public Relations, Irina Karimova, Head of the International Cooperation Department, and Darina Okuneva, Dean of the Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems.

During the meeting, the colleagues discussed the prospects for implementing a joint educational project to teach students the Internet of things, management, automation of technological processes and production, and automated information processing and management systems.

The universities did a great deal of preparatory work on comparing curricula and developing project documentation, which was highly appreciated by the provincial leadership. At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged congratulations on the successful start of scientific and educational cooperation and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation in the future, which will undoubtedly contribute to the strengthening of relations between Russia and China.
