Happy birthday, University!

On October 13th, The Bonch-Bruevich St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications celebrates its next birthday – this year our university turns 91 years old.

During this time, the university staff has passed a difficult and worthy path. SPbSUT today is a modern scientific and educational center with a well-developed infrastructure and material and technical base, successfully training highly qualified specialists, well-educated, with a broad outlook, a high sense of responsibility of young people.

The unique teaching staff of LEIS-SPbSUT, many years of experience in educational and scientific activities and, most importantly, talented students, who are here striving to create the most favorable conditions for the realization of their abilities, allow the university to remain one of the leading Russian universities for decades. Our university has made a huge contribution to the development of Russian science and higher education, has trained tens of thousands of qualified specialists in the field of communications and telecommunications. "Bonchevtsy" successfully work in industry companies, head enterprises, transfer their knowledge to new generations of students or engage in science, confirming with their achievements the high title of a graduate of St. Petersburg State University. Among them are public and political figures, scientists, heads of large companies and enterprises, which is another vivid evidence of the highest quality of the educational school.

Despite its advanced age, our "Bonch" is one of the most innovative universities and today adequately represents itself at various conferences, forums, industry and educational exhibitions, competitions and championships. New laboratories are being opened, advanced scientific ideas and non-standard solutions are being born and implemented, international relations are expanding, the material and technical base is being strengthened, active educational work is being carried out and student life is boiling.

On this festive day, we congratulate our teachers, employees, students and graduates on the birthday of Boncha and wish everyone happiness and prosperity, victories and discoveries, and development and prosperity to our native university!
