The new Arctic expedition of SPbSUT has started

The second technological expedition to the Arctic has started. A team of 17 people will work in the Arkhangelsk region for two weeks.

The main work will take place in remote areas of Pomorye. Scientists will test the developments of SPbSUT: an automatic portable electroencephalograph, low-power transceivers and repeater transceivers, a meteorological station, a radiocommunication network analyzer, as well as equipment from the Sputniks company (Skolkovo).

The expedition members arrived safely on a Yak-42 plane in Arkhangelsk on September 7. In their Arctic Diary they wrote:

"The fresh north wind, the royal Dvina, the embankment, monuments and monuments, panel and wooden houses – Arkhangelsk turned out to be a cozy and attractive city without haste, fuss and pathos. We managed to return exactly to dinner, where we received valuable instructions regarding tomorrow, which promises to be eventful. But the events of tomorrow are tomorrow."

The trip to the Arctic became possible thanks to the victory of the team of Master's Institute of SPbSUT in the grant competition of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia "Rediscovering Russia" of the platform "Russia is a country of opportunities".
