SPbSUT meets exchange students

9 march 2022

Exchange training programs welcome foreign students at The Bonch-Bruevich St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications. In February, students from the Almaty University of Energy and Communications (AUES, Kazakhstan) – Anton Akhtichanov, Gleb Faizov and Denis Yagodkin started their studies.

The students study at the faculties of Infocommunication Networks and Systems, Information Systems and Technologies and attend classes at the oldest enterprise in St. Petersburg "Rubin" - one of the world leaders in the design of submarines and the leading design bureaus of underwater shipbuilding in Russia.

We wish students excellent studies and pleasant impressions from getting to know "Bonch" and St. Petersburg!

SPbSUT and AUES have long-standing partnerships. The universities have been successfully cooperating for more than five years in such areas as academic mobility of students and teachers, as well as scientific internships. So, in 2014, 35 undergraduates from the partner university completed an internship in the field of training "Infocommunication technologies and communication systems", and in 2016 a student of the Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies studied at the AUES for exchange. In September 2019, Irina Karimova, Head of the International Cooperation Department of SPbSUT, paid a working visit to the Almaty University of Energy and Communications, during which she made a presentation about the university, told about faculties, laboratories and admission rules.
