SPbSUT Student Council is recognized as the best Student Council of St Petersburg

The Student Council of SPbSUT has become the absolute leader of the regional competition for the best organization of the activities of student government activities.

The results of the competition were summed up on November 25 at the St Petersburg Youth House. The SPbSUT team received a diploma for the first place.

The Student Council of our University applied for the competition in 5 nominations and won prizes in each of them. Thanks to this, it was recognized as the best in a special nomination – "The Best Student Council (Council of students)" and won according to the results of the entire competition. The Federal stage of the competition will be held in spring-2023.

The winners of the regional competition were 29 student councils in 10 nominations.

Our activists and Chairman of the Council Artem Alekseev received a special prize – an internship at the Moscow headquarters of the All-Russian public movement "Association of Students and Student’s Unions of Russia".

Student self-government at the University has been developing since 2005. Student Council holds more than 100 events a year – these are active schools, creative, scientific, educational, volunteer, sports events. In addition to our students, students of other Russian universities are involved in Student Council projects.
