Students from Angola share their impressions about the production practice in the company "T8"

From July 19th to 20th, 3rd-year students of the Faculty of Infocommunication Networks and Systems Agoshtinyu Penash Sozinyu and Kamuezhi Yuri Gaspar made a trip to Moscow as part of an internship to gain professional skills and professional experience in the Russian telecom company "T8". The guys are originally from Angola and are studying at SPbSUT by the state direction of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, showing good results at the end of the sessions.

The T8 company is a Russian developer and manufacturer of telecommunications equipment for spectral compaction (DWDM) and innovative solutions for optical communication networks.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the main activities of the company and get not only a lot of relevant information on the topic of practice, but also get acquainted with the equipment that the company develops and the services provided. Special attention was paid to the DWDM technology.

During the trip, the students listened to a number of lectures to prepare for the practical part in the company's laboratory, where they then observed the work of employees and participated in experiments with equipment.

Kamuezhi Yuri Gashpar: "Representatives of the company accompanied us in Moscow and we really liked that we had an internship at T8."

Agostinho Penas Sozinho: "It was a unique experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to practice in the company's laboratory and work with modern equipment. I would like to express my desire to continue my internship at this company, as employees are willing to share their experience, and after graduation I plan to continue working with DWDM technology.

I am very happy and thank you for everything!"
