Today, on the birthday of St. Petersburg, the XVII International Festival of National Cultures-a traditional holiday of spring, friendship and students – begins in SPbSUT.
"Bonch" is a multinational university that trains students from different regions of Russia and the whole planet. The festival is aimed at introducing the diversity of cultural traditions of students of SPbSUT, establishing mutual understanding between students and promoting the ideals of humanism and solidarity.
Traditionally, the event includes competitions of teams of students from different countries in culinary skills and country presentations, as well as sports competitions in volleyball and football.
Due to the current anti-epidemic restrictions, this year the Festival will be held in full-time format: for 6 days, presentations prepared by foreign students of our university and dedicated to interesting and unusual facts about a particular country will be published on the website and in the official group of SPbSUT.
The Festival of National Cultures will end on June, 4th, when an independent jury will determine the best video greeting card. The winners will receive certificates and valuable prizes!
Students from sunny Uzbekistan, one of the oldest regions of Central Asia, will be the first to represent their country:
