SPbSUT took part in the meeting of the ITU working group "Protecting Children Online"

The17th meeting of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) working group on protecting children from online threats was held on January 26. The purpose of this ITU working group is to raise awareness of child safety issues on the Internet, as well as to develop roadmaps for improving child safety online.

SPbSUT was presented by Associate Professor of the Department of Social and Political Sciences Anastasia Kulnazarova, who took an active part in the meeting and in the discussions.

Within the framework of the event, such issues as promoting the healthy use of technology among children and adolescents, combating cyberbullying and illegal use of personal data, and creating a safe media environment in social networks were discussed.
