SPbSUT entered the RAEX rating for federal districts

23 december 2021

The Association of Rating Compilers and the Rating Agency RAEX presented a pilot issue of the local rating of Russian universities. The long list includes 327 universities from 79 regions of the Russian Federation. Educational institutions were given an independent assessment of the realization of their educational and scientific potential and impact on the social environment.

Universities included in the Moscow International rating "Three Missions of the University" or in the rating of the best Russian universities RAEX-100 in 2021 were excluded from the number of participants in local ratings. According to the compilers of the rating, this is done due to the fact that this study focuses not on identifying national leaders, but on evaluating a wide range of regional and highly specialized universities.

The Bonch-Bruevich St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications took the 11th position among 35 universities of the Northwestern Federal District. The following ranks were assigned to the university's activities in the following areas: education - 15, science - 10, society - 15. The methodology for compiling the rating and groups of criteria are presented on the website.

The conducted research continues the development of the ecosystem of the "Three University Missions" ratings, which takes into account the implementation of the following areas by universities: education, science and interaction with society. The pilot issue of the local rating of Russian universities was compiled with the support of the Russian Union of Rectors and information assistance from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
