SPbSUT - the winner of the EEUA 2021 Award

On June 22nd, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the EEUA 2021 award was held at the Ural Federal University (Yekaterinburg), which was held as part of the IX Annual Forum on the Development of International Educational Activities of Universities.

The EEUA Award is given annually to universities for achievements in the field of internationalization of higher education and active promotion of Russia (CIS) in the world space. The award was established by the Association of Eastern European Universities in 2017 and is awarded in the following categories:

Organizing an international department from scratch;
International reputation of the university;
Development of interuniversity cooperation;
Involvement of foreign students in the extracurricular life of the university;
Internationalization of training programs;
Mobility of students and teachers;
Original project;
Recruitment of international students;
Personal contribution;
The campus of my dreams.
In 2021, our university became one of the winners. The joint project of SPbSUT and Davidson-Davy Community College (North Carolina, USA) in the field of virtual academic exchange, which has been implemented since the fall of 2019 in the form of joint classes of students of humanities and technical areas in English, was awarded an honorary award in the nomination "Mobility of students and Teachers".

We congratulate the head of the Department of International Cooperation Irina Karimova, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages Ksenia Zemlyakova and senior teacher of the Department of Foreign and Russian Languages Alexandra Marinskaya on a well-deserved victory and wish them further success!
