SPbSUT at the conference "Digital International Relations 2022"

From April 14th to 15th, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) hosted the international scientific and practical conference "Digital International Relations 2022". The event was dedicated to current challenges, trends and practices in international relations in 2022.

The platform brought together experts from leading Russian and foreign universities, representatives of IT companies, international organizations and other specialists. The SPbSUT was represented at the event by the Head of the Department of International Cooperation Irina Karimova.

The plenary session of the conference was attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) Alexander Sergeev, Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications Alexander Shoitov, Director of the Institute of System Programming Harutyun Avetisyan, President of the Russian Association for Public Relations Evgeny Minchenko.

Within the framework of the forum, round tables and sections were held on Russian and foreign education, international information security, artificial intelligence, modern educational technologies, digitalization.

Experts discussed the best global practices of digital transformation in the fields of international relations, management, economics and education. Special attention was paid to the issues of digital law.

The organizers were MGIMO, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the V. P. Ivannikov Institute of System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
