International Cooperation Department of SPbSUT organized an excursion to Peterhof for students of the Preparatory course for foreign citizens. Teachers of the Preparatory course Olga Kareva, Ilona Egipti and Elena Pechnikova went to Peterhof with the group.
The visit to Peterhof began with an introductory lecture about the western part of Peterhof and its architecture. Then the audience got acquainted with the city itself, its history and the process of building a palace and park ensemble in 1710.
The tour plan also included an inspection of the fountains - the Grand Cascade, Samson, Chalice, Adam and Eve, the Golden Mountain, Triton, Favorite and others. Course listeners and teachers enjoyed the views of the Gulf of Finland and learned many interesting facts about the life and achievements of Peter the Great.
The students of the course were charged with positive emotions, received new impressions and knowledge, took a lot of photos for memory.
We wish them excellent studies and look forward to SPbSUT in the new academic year!
