Congratulations on the Foundation Day of SPbSUT from Acting Rector Georgy Mashkov

Dear students, teachers, employees and graduates! SPbSUT celebrates the 92nd anniversary of its foundation on October 13. The history of the University consisted of biographies of scientists, teachers, students and graduates, their scientific and practical achievements. Many years of activity contributed to the establishment of our university as the largest center for training specialists in the field of communications and telecommunications. We have everything necessary to successfully solve the task of providing the strategically important telecommunications industry with professional personnel.

SPbSUT unites scientific institutes, companies and enterprises of high-tech sectors of the economy around itself, directing its activities to breakthrough scientific research in the field of new generation communication networks and training of specialists in demand not only today, but also in the future. The high rating of graduates and the quality of training of specialists are provided by teachers and scientists using the latest methods, means and forms of education. Over 65% of the teaching staff are doctors and candidates of sciences. The University is proud of its teaching staff, the best representatives of which were presented to state awards in economics, science, culture, and education. Students and graduates represent the University not only nationwide, but also in the international arena, and do not need additional recommendations. The diploma of our oldest University serves as a guarantee of high culture, education and the ability to competently solve the most difficult tasks.
