SPbSUT at the Forum "Russia is a sports power"

The X Anniversary International Sports Forum "Russia is a sports power" ended in early October in the Kemerovo region.

The discussion platform brought together senior government officials, heads of international and national sports federations, well-known athletes, industry and business experts, sports industry leaders.

Representatives of student sports associations, associations and universities, including a specialist of SPbSUT, became participants of the Forum. The program included presentation and partner sessions, round tables, exhibitions and master classes, lectures, seminars, conferences and youth sections dedicated to student sports.

Specialist in sports and mass work of the Department for Educational and Social Work Evgeny Barsukov attended a number of events of the Forum "Management and Entrepreneurship in Sports" as part of the delegation of St Petersburg. Participants from the Northern capital listened to lectures from famous figures of sports, science and politics – "Digital is a new format for student competitions", "Marketing in Sports", "Fundraising in sports" and others.

As part of a boxing master class from the MMA world champion Anastasia Kamaeva, the guys tried their hand in the ring and showed a good result.

The delegation of St Petersburg also took part in the round table "Trends and new formats of sports events: the view of youth". The participants discussed the most interesting formats of sports events, prospects for the development of street sports as part of mass youth sports.

The Sports Forum "Russia is a Sports power" was established by the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation in order to develop physical culture and sports, international sports cooperation, as well as promote a healthy lifestyle. The Forum is one of the largest and most significant events of the sports and socio-political life of the country.
