Bonch is a big friendly family! SPbSUT celebrated National Unity Day

The festive event "Day of Friendship" was held on November 3 at SPbSUT. The event was organized by the Council of Foreign Students, International Cooperation Department and Department of Educational and Social Work.

The guests took part in interactive entertainment stations, tasted traditional national treats, danced to the mesmerizing sounds of oriental drum and enjoyed performances of the creative teams of SPbSUT.

Vice-Rector for Educational Work and Public Relations Irina Alekseenko made a welcoming speech. She noted the importance of unity and friendship of peoples of all nationalities.

The award ceremony for the winner of the competition for the best commentary in the group of the Council of Foreign Students on VKontakte on the topic “Friendship” took place as part of the celebration. Alexandra Pozdysheva gave the most heartwarming description: “Friendship is a feeling of kinship and unity of souls with another person. When you know that it doesn't matter how many kilometers between you and how many days you haven't seen each other. You will always support and help each other." Wonderful words!

Song-flashmob "We are together!" was a great ending to the event.
