Master's Degree Institute at the international exhibition from Begin Group

On October 3rd, SPbSUT took part in the international exhibition "Magistracy and Additional Education" from BeginGroup.

The exhibition presented master's programs of foreign educational institutions and universities of St. Petersburg.

About 100 people paid attention to the stand of SPbSUT and asked questions about the content of master's degree programs and admission conditions. Great interest was aroused by the speech of Doctor of Technical Sciences N. Ivanov with a presentation on the master's degree of SPbSUT. The listeners appreciated the information about the high percentage of graduates employment and the competitive level of their salaries.

The visitors of the exhibition paid attention both to the traditional programs for BONCH in the field of radio engineering, telecommunications, computer security, and to the humanitarian profiles of education, which are focused on the processes of digitalization of various aspects of life around the world.

Of particular interest to potential applicants were two new master's programs of our university – "Machine and deep learning for the Internet of Things and the tactile Internet" and "Software of cyber-physical systems".

A distinctive feature of this year's exhibition was that, along with students of the 3rd-4th year of bachelor's degree, a significant number of schoolchildren were observed. When asked about the goals of such an early interest in the master's degree, the guys replied that they choose a master's program that ensures a successful future, and a bachelor's degree will be determined for the chosen master's degree.

The second distinguishing feature was the interest of Russians and residents of Central Asian countries in specialties that will enable subsequent work in the oil and gas industry. The students noted for themselves the master's programs in the areas of 15.04.04 "Automation of technological processes and production" and 27.04.04. "Management in technical systems".

All visitors of the exhibition were invited to specialized events to prepare for admission to the Master's program (the School of the future Master's student , the Infotelecom Olympiad , the portfolio competition), as well as to the All-Russian scientific and methodological conference "Training of professional personnel in the Master's program for the digital Economy – PCM-2021".
