Introductory meeting with students of the Preparatory Department for foreign citizens

International Cooperation Department together with the Department of Educational and Social Work organized a meeting with the students of the Preparatory Department for foreign citizens who arrived in St Petersburg. The meeting took place on February 2. Students from 6 foreign countries: China, Tunisia, Algeria, Lebanon, Benin and Egypt are studying this year under this program.

Head of the International Cooperation Department Irina Karimova opened the meeting. Irina Karimova told about SPbSUT, events, admission conditions and  about faculties of our University. Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and International Cooperation Nina Zhuravleva made a welcoming speech. Leading Specialist of the Department for Educational and Social Work Elena Sidorova introduced the students to the basic laws of the Russian Federation and the internal regulations of SPbSUT, the rules of living in dormitories. Students will have many events in the near future: Maslenitsa, Navruz, excursion the A.S. Popov Central Museum of Communications.
