Students of SPbSUT successfully passed the selection in the Youth group of the CIS countries

In early February, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) announced the selection of candidates for the new initiative - Generation Connect - the CIS Youth Group (GC-CIS), created to provide young people from the CIS region with the opportunity to discuss the prospects and challenges associated with the development of information and communication technologies (ICT).

Thanks to this opportunity, GC-CIS participants will be able to share their interest and vision for digital transformation with ITU members, in particular in the context of the upcoming World Telecommunication Development Conference 2021 (WRC-21) and the Regional Preparatory Meeting for the CIS Region (RPS-CIS), which will be held on April 21-22, 2021. One of the results of the GC-CIS work will be the development of a collective document, which is planned to be presented at the RPS-CIS in the future.

On March, 1st, the list of successful candidates for GC-CIS was announced , including undergraduates and a post-graduate student of SPbSUT:

The first meeting of the GC-CIS participants will take place on March, 4th.
