Online meeting with angelic applicants

On October 29th, an online meeting was held with applicants from the Republic of Angola interested in studying in Russia. Irina Karimova, Head of the International Cooperation Department, made a presentation about SPbSUT, and Agoshtinyu Penash Sozinyu, a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of ICSS, helped her in this.

The students were told about our university: faculties, bachelor's, master's and postgraduate programs, admission conditions, electives and student associations. The applicants also learned about the conditions and stages of the selection of candidates for the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation for the training of foreign citizens in 2022. After the presentation, the students asked questions of interest to them, namely: about living in Russia and scholarships, as well as career opportunities after higher education.

Students from Angola can already boast of their achievements in "Bonch": according to the results of the 2020/2021 academic year, the country's team showed the best results in studies among foreign students, and in 2019 they won a prize at the Festival of National Cultures.
