Graduate of SPbSUT appointed as Vice-Governor of Saint-Petersburg

A graduate of The Bonch-Bruevich Saint Petersburg State University of telecommunications, A. N. Belsky was appointed Vice-Governor of Saint Petersburg. Alexander Nikolaevich will oversee issues of youth policy.

The Governor of Saint Petersburg, A.D. Beglov, proposed to nominate A. N. Belsky for the post of Vice-Governor. "I am sure that he will perform the duties of Vice-Governor with dignity," Alexander Dmitrievich said.

Alexander Belsky was born in Leningrad in 1975. He received his higher education in 1997 at SPbSUT with a degree in Economics and management at enterprises. He started his career at the "Severnaya Verf" shipyard in Leningrad, then worked in various business structures. Since 2014, he has been the head of the municipality-Chairman of the Municipal Council of Sestroretsk. Alexander Belsky was also elected as Deputy Chairman of the Council of municipalities of Saint Petersburg, and since January 2019 has been in the position of Chairman of the Committee for territorial development of Saint Petersburg.
