Erasmus projects working sessions at Tajik State University of Commerce

3.jpeg From October 11 to October 12, working sessions of the project “Paving the Way to Interregional Mobility and Ensuring Relevance, Quality and Equity of Access” – PAWER took place at Tajik State University of Commerce (Dushanbe), where SPbSUT participates together with leading universities of Europe and CIS countries. The project is implemented within the framework of the Erasmus + program and coordinated by the University of Laquille (Italy). The main goal of PAWER is to prepare practical recommendations for knowledge assessing systems correlation acquired by students in the framework of academic exchange programs, which will help simplify the process of mutual recognition of education by European and post-Soviet countries.

The event was attended by the head of the International cooperation department, Irina Karimova, the leading specialist of the international cooperation department, Tatyana Petrovets, the associate professor of the Communication and data networks department. Muthanna Ammar Saleh Ali and the graduate student of the Communication and data networks department, Abdukodir Khakimov.

The representatives of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Education Ministries, Rector of the Tajik State University of Commerce addressed with a welcoming speech to the project working groups members, pointed  the importance of the tasks solved by this program. The main topics of practice-oriented sessions discussion become the comparison of university cooperation experience in the field of academic mobility, as well as the obtained marks and ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) recalculation scores and academic support organization for students during their studies abroad. Representatives of SPbSUT shared their experience in preparing a transcript of records for foreign students, the European graduate diploma supplement, told about international events held at the university and exchange programs with foreign universities. In addition, European universities introduced participants a new possibilities of applying for the ERASMUS program in the Internet of things, information security, sustainable development, etc areas. At the end of the event, participants were awarded by certificates.
