1.jpgThe head of the International cooperation department, Irina Karimova paid a working visit to the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) this September having strong partnerships with it.  For an example, employees and teachers of Electrical Engineering Faculty of the University of Ljubljana come to Bonch under the annual academic exchange program. Successful experience of cooperation between universities is traditionally supported by the Erasmus + program, which provides grants for short-term visits to a partner university for  conducting classes and sharing experience purpose.

Irina Karimova got acquainted with the educational, scientific and international activities of the telecommunications department, multimedia laboratory and the Faculty of Economics. In addition, the guest was invited to take part in vocational guidance event with Slovenian schools, organized in order to popularize engineering education. Teachers have the opportunity to visit industrial enterprises of Slovenia, where graduates of the Ljubljana University successfully work. Company "Mikropis" has become such a production this year, whose main activity is the implementation of innovative business solutions. Innovative and easy-to-use employee health programs are being introduced in combination with the 24alife corporate offer in order to provide comfortable working conditions for the enterprise.

SPbSUT has a strong friendship with the leading telecommunications company "Iskratel", where the best students went to get work experience. The possibilities of resuming this area of cooperation were discussed  with the representative of Iskratel, Drago Zepic, during the negotiations.

Academic and industrial partners of our university in Slovenia are always happy to see students and teachers of “Bonch” in their walls.
