International students at the Museum of Communications

On November 27, foreign students who came to study Russian at SPbSUT this academic year, together with volunteer students and a specialist from the International Cooperation Department A. Maksimova visited the Central Museum of Communications named after A.S. Popov.

The students learned about history of the post, discussed with the guide the invention of  telegraph and telephone, radio, television, satellite and mobile communications.  Everyone was able to see authentic and interactive exhibits. A particularly touching part of the tour was the acquaintance with the collection of postage signs in Russia, where everyone could find a stamp issued precisely in his/her year of birth.

Visiting the A.S. Popov Central Museum of Communications by foreign students has become a good tradition that SPbSUT has been supporting for many years. And the next visit to the museum is just around the corner.
