SPbSUT congratulates the Central Museum of Communications named after A. S. Popov with its birthday

On September 11th, the Central Museum of Communications named after A. S. Popov celebrated its 147th anniversary. SPbSUT was invited to the festive event among the guests of honor . "Today, the Central Museum of Communications is one of the oldest scientific and technical museums in the world, where a unique collection of exhibits on the history of postal, telegraph and telephone, radio and broadcasting, television, mobile, space and satellite communications. Many generations of Museum staff carefully preserve the history of communication, cordially open their doors to visitors, helping to better understand the past and present, educates young people, including the students of "Bonch", a sense of patriotism and belonging to the glorious past and present of the communications and telecommunications industry. Preserving traditions and at the same time widely introducing modern forms of scientific and educational work, the Museum has become a real center of culture, education and upbringing of citizens," the guests noted in their congratulations.

It should be added that our University and the Museum are united by many years of cooperation, which was significantly strengthened in connection with the creation of the Museum in the walls of SPbSUT.
