The meeting of the 11th Research Commission "Signaling Requirements, Protocols, Test Specifications and Combating Counterfeit Telecommunication/ICT Devices" takes place at the International Telecommunication Union Headquarters (Geneva, Switzerland) from 6 to 15 July. Three draft recommendations from SPbSUT were sent for consideration to continue diplomatic work on participation in the international legal protection of the interests of the Russian Federation in the field of telecommunications. The projects will continue previously started work on the development of new data transfer protocols, testing methods and an umbrella standardization map in 5G/IMT-2020 networks.
Head of the Department of Software Engineering and Computer Science, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Ruslan Kirichek and Associate Professor of the Department of Communications and Data Transmission Networks, Candidate of Technical Sciences Anastasia Vybornova will speak from SPbSUT at the meeting of the expert group.

It should be noted that in 2017 Ruslan Kirichek was elected Head of the ITU-T Recommendations Development Group of the 12th issue "Testing Internet of Things, its applications and Identification Systems" of the 11th ITU-T Research Commission. Ruslan Kirichek will continue to lead the group and represent interests of the Russian Federation in the field of telecommunications in the new research period 2022-2024.
