SPbSUT today: a picture of the day

 1. Students of SPbSUT held the stream broadcast of Cup VTB on eSports. The commentary team included: Nikolay Voskresensky (4th year), Yevgeny Khodko (1st year), Lev Nikolov (1st year). The participation of SPbSUT in a commercial eSports tournament shows the demand for advanced technical solutions that our University has in the field of eSports, and the stream studio created by students meets all the necessary requirements of professional eSports and makes it possible to cover any event in computer sports.

2. The Basic Department "Digital television and radio broadcasting" held a remote defense of final qualifying works by 4th year students for the first time in the history of . Graduates of the basic Department in 2020 are 15 students who are expected to start their careers in various branches: Pskov, Murmansk, Saratov, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Kalmykia, the Republic of Karelia, and Saint Petersburg branch.

3. Department of organization of scientific work of students in the 2019/2020 school year, provided participation of undergraduates of the University in the following events: the finals of the XII International Olympiad "IT-planet", all-Russian contest "Infoforum – New generation", grant UMNIK program by Fund of assistance to innovation, the all-Russian contest "Digital breakthrough" all-Russia Olympiad "I am a professional" qualification stage II is the Professional all-Russian youth scientific and technical competition of developments in the field of filmmaking, broadcasting and telecommunications "First step" and others. It is worth noting that 75 of the 100 applicants participating in the events became laureates.

4. The 1st year students have an examination session in General education subjects at the St. Petersburg College of telecommunications.

5. In St.-Petersburg College of telecommunications manufacturing practices are held in a remote format.

6. The Smolensk College of telecommunications (branch) of SPbSUT held a Pedagogical Council in the video conference mode on the Google Meet platform.

7. "Graduation -2020. Summer season " held In the Arkhangelsk College of telecommunications (branch) of the SPbSUT in an online format with broadcast on YouTube video hosting.

Congratulations to the graduates was made by the head of Rossvyaz O. Dukhovnitsky, rector of the SPbSUT Bachevsky S. V., Director of College Topanov A. P., Minister of communications and information technologies of Arkhangelsk region Okladnikova P. A., chief of the cosmodrome the Colonel Khairutdinova R. Y., Chairperson Kotelnikova E. A. and teachers of College. Video greetings are posted in the official group of the College in Vkontakte.

The graduation will be remembered for the number of students who received diplomas with honors-23! Among the graduates are 10 Russian Government fellows, 2 people who received the E. T. Krenkel scholarship, the Chairman Of the student Council of dormitories, and the captain of the team that took 3rd place in the CS:GO discipline at the Rossvyaz eSports tournament "Svyaz League".

A tense battle broke out in the election of the Prom King and Queen, as 739 people took part in the vote for the Queen. Danil Gusev and Anastasia Kuznetsova became the King and Queen -2020! A total of 129 full – time and 18 part-time students successfully completed their studies at the College.
