Specialty 230201 Information systems and technologies Objects of professional activity of engineers of specialty 071900 are information systems and networks, their mathematical, informational, and software support, means and methods of design, debugging, production, and operation of technical and software facilities of information systems in the field of communications. Engineers of this specialty participate in the creation of information and telecommunication infrastructure of Russia, as well as European and global infrastructure, ensure the process of convergence of informatics and telecommunication, develop new information services, multimedia technologies, geo-information technologies, and systems of decision-making support. They are able to provide access and navigation in the world-wide information web, to participate in informatization and intellectualization of units, enterprises and establishments, as well as of different spheres of activity, including telecommunications. Graduates of this specialty work for the companies â€" system integrators, network managers in information networks of different purposes. Specialty 200401 Biotechnical and medical equipment and systems In specialty 190500, training of specialists in the field of design, creation, marketing, operation and maintenance of biotechnical and medical devices and systems is carried out. Future specialists receive complete training of electronics engineer and study disciplines in the medical-technical field : anatomy and physiology, interaction of physical fields with bio-objects, functioning of biotechnical systems, equipment of biotechnical purpose, instruments for medical introscopy and ecology. Graduates of this specialty can work for enterprises that manufacture medical equipment, in the medical institutions, ensuring functioning of complex medical technology , in environmental institutions, in state epidemic inspections, in sports and forensic medicine, and in other fields of instrument-making and electronic industry. Specialty 210201 Design and technology of radio-electronic equipment In specialty 200800, specialists of contemporary telecommunications, radio navigation, radio control, and telemetry equipment of new generation (installed on mobile and stationary objects of professional and everyday use) are trained. Orientation toward computer technologies use in fulfilling tasks of technical design and production of radio-electronic equipment is a distinguishing feature of curriculum. G raduates of this specialty deal with design, production, and operation of up-to-date radio-electronic equipment of different purposes, as well as with development of modern technological processes with the use of computer and microprocessor technology. When designing and developing, computer graphics and Internet resources are widely used. Specialty 22301 Automation of technological processes of communication enterprises In the process of specialists training (specialty 210200), considerable attention is paid to studying architecture and hardware/software support of information systems of mail service control. Profound training of specialists is conducted in the framework of cycle "Automation of technological processes and productions of post and bank systems". The fields of training are: design of information systems, such as electronic and hybrid mail on the basis of computer networks; information systems of control of post and bank operations; transit-logical systems; computer networks of money transfer; user integrated dispersed post, trade, and advertising networks. Graduates of this specialty work under conditions of real economy at communication enterprises, in seaports and airports, in custom-houses, banks, stock exchanges, agencies, and business centers.
