Faculty of Part-Time Education and Correspondence Courses (FPTE & CC)

The faculty trains students in the following specialties:

• 220301 Automation of technological processes and productions
• 210404 Multi channel telecommunication systems
• 210405 Radio communication, radio broadcasting, and television
• 210406 Communication networks and switching systems
• 080502 Economics and management at communication enterprise

Primary task of the faculty of correspondence and evening education is training of engineers of broad qualification in the field of communications and telecommunications without interrupting their work, in form of internal-external (evening) and correspondence instruction for the communication and informatization enterprises and establishments.

Normative period of studying at the faculty is 5 years 10 months.

For those, who have graduated from specialized secondary educational institutions (SSEI) in the same field with the specialization chosen in the university, a shorter period of studies is established, i.e. 4,5 years, while for those, who have graduated from SSEI with the qualification of junior engineer - 3,5 years.

Admitted to the evening form of education are those who live in St. Petersburg and its suburbs; admitted to the external form of education are those who live in other regions of the country.

For those who already have higher education, program of the second higher education in all specialties is offered.
